Maintaining harmony throughout the property with luxurious oak doors

Achieving a satisfying visual harmony inside and out was the key consideration here, since the client was keen to recreate, throughout his home, the unique charm of the front door. Bringing a unified and coherent look to homes is something we do pretty much every single day, so this was a challenge we felt more than able to rise to.

Driven by the pursuit of perfection underlying everything we do, our team began by designing and crafting a highly bespoke natural oak front door whose uneven vertical carved lines produce undeniable wow factor. The door’s stylish Philip Watts handle is in brass, providing the perfect marriage of flawless performance and weather-proof longevity.

Continuing the ‘lined’ theme indoors, we took the minimalist Gio Glass product as our fire door base, but then gave it a unique and breathtaking makeover by embellishing it with uneven, vertical strips of timber.  While these strips cleverly mimic those of the beloved front door, the internal doors’ glass panels – visible between the strips – allow for incredible light flow, producing a feeling of extra space and airiness.  The gaps between strips also give a tantalising glimpse into the rooms beyond, adding a further sense of intrigue and anticipation to an already captivating home.  We also created garage doors for our client, as well as supplying beautiful olive ash skirting to perfectly complement the olive ash we used in the internal doors, adding to the sense of coherence and harmony.
