Introducing Deuren's new beam saw
Deuren is passionate about continuously upskilling the workforce, improving efficiencies and investing in advanced machinery to ensure we not only meet but surpass our customers’ expectations.
The latest addition to our extensive range of machinery based in our West Yorkshire factory is the Mayer PS 80 beam saw – a high-precision panel cutting machine to elevate our service.
We’ve been testing this impressive piece of machinery since last month and have now fully integrated it into our daily working. It offers cutting lengths of upto 3200mm and has a saw blade diameter of 320mm and projection of 95mm.
Bettering Deuren’s capability and efficiencies
With its feed speed of 5-100m a minute and 9kw motor power, the Mayer PS 80 will enable us to increase capacity and work to an even faster turnaround. Its steel pressure beam and excellent cut quality will allow us to be more precise and accurate than ever before – to within a tenth of a millimetre to be exact. We should now be able to aim for a reduced lead time of six to eight weeks so this is a great investment that will enable us to keep up with the growing demand for our products.
