Beautifully bespoke fire-safe doors to suit this 4-storey home

Our Yorkshire-based client needed a total of 24 doors for their breathtaking new build: an impressive 4-storey home with a spectacular internal staircase as well as a stunning ground-to-roof façade made from glass.

Residential buildings with three or more storeys need fire precautions in place, so we discussed the possibility of installing our own fire-rated doors wherever necessary as part of the project.  Ultimately the client opted for an alternative safety measure, but beautifully bespoke fire-safe doors is something we’re always happy to design, craft and install for our clients.

We also delivered this project on a carefully phased 4-stage basis to fit with the tightly planned build schedule.  It’s another service we’re happy to offer as part of our commitment to working flexibly around the very unique demands of any particular project.

We delivered this project in carefully coordinated batches of 15, 4, 1 and 4 doors, having helped the client arrive at the decision to opt for Trem H doors in a beautiful yet surprisingly uncommon olive ash veneer.  While satisfyingly simple in design and construction, it’s this distinct finish that enables these doors to really catch the eye, complementing the calming neutrality of the interior but simultaneously working effortlessly well with accent colours in the home’s office.  Elsewhere, we created a stylish double entrance door and Versare garage door in black, all of which helps unify this property’s overall aesthetic to brilliant effect.
