Ensuring consistency in a large long-term project
This was an exceptional project not just because of its scale but also owing to the extremely high standard of build required from every element of this home’s breathtaking interior. Far from being intimidated, we relished the chance to work on such a unique and exciting project. As with all of our work, though, we remained acutely mindful of the need for rigorous quality control and superb project management.
For interiors as unique and design-led as these, it was clear that we’d be drawing as heavily as ever on our ability to create truly bespoke doors. We worked closely with the client to identify our beautiful Trem H internal doors as the perfect choice, each one carefully finished in satin walnut and showcasing a simple but stylish H416 handle. As well as the doors themselves, we also made the frames and architraves, all engineered to our own exacting specifications and tolerances for a perfect fit and flawless look. Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for us: it's how we live up to our underlying promise of being dedicated to design and committed to performance.
To guarantee total aesthetic consistency throughout the entire two-part order, we deliberately ordered the finishing veneers for all of the doors all in one go. This way, we avoided the potential risk of even a slight difference in finish which can arise when two separate batches of veneers are produced at different times. Knowing our materials and thinking ahead in this way are second nature to us, and it’s precisely the kind of experience and foresight we bring to every project we work on.
