An oversized stained-oak beauty, perfectly suited for this dream home

Our dedication to design was crucial here, since the oversized entrance door and its beautiful glass panes made this a project unlike anything we’d completed before.  Far from intimidating us, we see projects like this as perfect opportunities to showcase our ability to produce something genuinely bespoke. 

Working closely with the builder, Hayden Finch, as well as to tight deadlines, we created a beautiful two-sided door, combining our Pichola V design on the outside with a Trem H for the interior. Black-stained oak veneer produced appealing natural textures yet worked in harmony with the property’s effortlessly cool and contemporary overall aesthetic.

The extensive window panelling adds a welcome contrast to an otherwise very solid-looking façade, and it also illuminates the interior. Using multiple glass panes meant that precision engineering to the tightest tolerances was paramount, as was careful alignment at the point of installation.

Meanwhile, brass handles by Williams Ironmongery were actually supplied by the client himself for us to fit, all part of our commitment to true personalisation and, ultimately, the Deuren pursuit of perfection.  The garage door we designed, made and fitted is a state-of-the-art overhead sectional model, using a Pichola V aesthetic to match the stunning entranceway.   

Overall, a stunning project and one we’re delighted to include in our portfolio as a perfect example of what we can achieve by matching an entranceway and garage doors.  As well as a harmonious and coherent whole, we’ve given this gorgeous minimalist property maximum kerb appeal.
