Bespoke internal doors perfect for an industrial aesthetic

For an interior as unique and special as this, it was clear that we’d need to apply all our creativity and ingenuity to create doors which suited their surroundings as well as faultlessly doing their jobs. The project required a range of very different doors, in a variety of styles and finishes which including a requirement for partnering with a specialist third-party supplier. This meant the project’s overall success would hinge not only on our design skills and engineering ability, but also on our experience managing complex projects and collaborating effectively.

Our expert design team applied its creativity to the project door by door, first considering and then presenting and recommending different ideas to the client.  Close consultation led to stunning final choices, including a modern and suitably understated Trem H door in timber of the highest quality, featuring striking horizontal grain formations in a beautiful walnut finish with contrasting lights and darks.  Other doors featured a painted finish in Farrow & Ball’s sophisticated blue-black ‘Railings’ colour.

For the ultimate bespoke touch, we collaborated with the client and specialist metalworkers, Chroma Sparks to machine and prepare a special channel in which a custom metal panel was fitted on some doors. The end result is breathtaking and fits wonderfully with the metallic-look surroundings of these particular doors.

Confident we really understood our client, we applied our keen understanding of technical possibilities to design and craft an internal pocket door. Using state-of-the-art premium-quality hardware, the two halves of this door slide effortlessly into two discreet corresponding recesses, giving a clean, minimal look when closed and disappearing altogether in their fully open position.
