Doors to match an awe-inspiring staircase

Our client wanted highly bespoke double and single doors for his breathtaking contemporary home: a home where every minute detail had been carefully considered and meticulously executed. The overriding design requirement was that the new doors – which were to include fire doors – perfectly complemented the home’s centrepiece feature; a stunning contemporary staircase.

We’re very used to working for clients with extremely high expectations, in fact we actively enjoy the challenge.  Even by our standards, though, this was a project where attention to detail was absolutely paramount.  The property we were working in had been meticulously curated, with every single element carefully selected or specially designed to create a modern look and feel both contemporary and luxurious. 

Projects like this depend on us being able to work closely with our clients so we can really understand their creative ambitions.  Only then can we deliver on our promise to realise their concept of perfection.  In this project, we designed and crafted single- and double-leaf Vario 4 doors in a beautiful dark wood walnut finish.   The double door leading into the open-plan kitchen/dining area is particularly impressive, not least because of imaginative use of the veneer’s gorgeous grain.

Always ready to do whatever it takes to achieve precisely the look our clients want, we encouraged this particular client to liaise directly with our timber supplier in order to identify the finishing materials that most closely matched their amazing staircase. The finished doors perform their respective roles brilliantly, not just from a design and finish perspective but in terms of functionality too. That’s thanks to our precision engineered door hardware, including stylish handles and wonderfully discreet ‘hidden’ hinges.

Overall, the effect is to elevate this interior to luxury that’s next level, perfectly in harmony with every aspect of its décor, features and fittings. The addition of our doors makes this a true no-compromise home, with a uniqueness that reflects the personality and taste of its discerning owners.
