Luxury doors utilising beautiful classic styles

The brief required external and internal doors that would exude classic character, perfectly in keeping with the tasteful style maintained throughout each property. Stunning good looks, flawless performance and trouble-free longevity were all equally essential, but they offered no major challenges for a team famously dedicated to the pursuit of perfection.

Each of this development’s beautiful homes is a wonderful example of classic architectural styling, so the decision to opt for Victorian internal and Georgian external doors was an easy one. The period look is effortlessly achieved thanks to each door’s clean, satisfying lines, yet the doors all simultaneously boast those contemporary Deuren features and technologies that make them an absolute joy to use. Hidden hinges are discreet, robust and wonderfully smooth, while the doors’ handles simply echo these qualities.

The internal doors are in Little Greene’s versatile French Dark Grey, perfectly complementing the interiors’ green, red and neutral colour schemes with their subtly creative elegance.  Meanwhile, to bring an element of distinctiveness to the development’s individual properties, external doors were finished using a combination of RAL 9005 Black, RAL Anthracite and RAL 7045.

Garage doors with a difference

For this new build near Luton our client wanted us to create doors for a garage not just with a difference, but with the kind of wow factor seldom seen in a context usually considered merely functional. As a company led by design and always eager to push the boundaries when opportunities arise, this kind of brief makes us particularly excited.

By far the most obvious consideration for this project was the fact that the building is slightly rounded.  The curve might be subtle, but any curve is a radical departure from the norm when it comes to garage layouts. Although the brief didn’t require the doors themselves to be curved, it was clear that we’d need to factor the building’s form into our plan for installation.

Going above and beyond, with an extra tall entrance door

With his impressive new-build in Formby, Liverpool, our client wanted to create the ultimate ‘forever’ home – one that would exactly satisfy every wish and requirement in terms of its design, build and fit-out. In other words, this property needed to be perfect in every respect, its doors being no exception. The client had already seen the quality of our bespoke doors close-up at the prestigious HBR show, and he was particularly impressed that unlike some manufacturers, at Deuren we’re confident enough in our products to showcase them like this.
