The Objectives
Deuren was contacted by a client who wanted high-quality pre-hung door sets that exude classic character to help set their luxury property development in East Sussex apart. This development features some of the finest homeware brands, including Miele, Kaldewei, and Crosswater, each carefully selected for their superior craftsmanship, style, and durability, for the finest turnkey solution.
Deuren's Solution
Each home in this development boasts a classic architectural style. Therefore, the Victorian internal and Georgian external door styles were the obvious and unmistakable choice. These door styles have the classic clean lines of an authentic period look and come with all the premium features of a contemporary door style.
Little Greene’s French Dark Grey 163 is a versatile shade for the internal doors, that beautifully complements green, red, and neutral colour schemes, bringing warmth and inspiring a sense of creativity and elegance – A great choice to match for this project.
A combination of RAL 9005 Black, RAL 7016 Anthracite, and RAL 7045 were used across the site for the external doors bringing in a suitable amount of variation.

Persevering with contemporary design details for a stunning finish
Deuren was hired by an architect with plans to design and build his own home. He had very specific ideas in mind for the structural and cosmetic design of the house. He wanted shadow gap door frames to feature throughout the build but was coming up against resistance from builders who were advising him against this labour-intensive work.
Replacement doors to complement existing furnishings
Our client had furnished their house with striking art pieces and features and required internal doors to match and complement those design choices. The doors were to be replacement doors so the client needed installation to be as mess-free as possible as didn’t want to have to redecorate.
Doors to match an awe-inspiring staircase
Our client had considered every feature throughout their stunning home in intricate detail. They required doors to match the beautiful staircase, which takes centre stage in this contemporary home. Because this new build spans over two storeys, bespoke fire doors were also required.
