Matching every entranceway for a consistent finish

Our designer client needed a full range of doors for this property, including internal, external and garage doors, all with particular designs in mind and made to our exacting standards.  The overall look was also important, with styles and finishes needing to complement the property’s aesthetic in order to enhance its overall wow factor.

There’s something particularly satisfying about creating a coherent whole-house look, and we love briefs that require doors for every context.  Designing and making such a variety of different doors needs careful planning, with the interplay between them always front of mind.  Of course, aesthetic harmony must never come at the expense of functionality, and we knew this job would draw heavily on both our dedication to design and commitment to performance.

Working as closely as always with the client, we created bespoke internal Trem H doors in a stunning natural oak finish, including an impactful extra-wide door which was hinged rather than pivoted.  The unusual finish of these doors is especially beguiling, occupying a territory somewhere between a natural wood aesthetic and something a little more modern.

For consistency, the back of the entrance door matches those internal doors that surround it.  Meanwhile, the absence of skirting lends a minimalist air, proving a bold and unorthodox move that gives all the internal doors real stand-out. With doors as beautiful as these, that’s always a good thing.

Outside, the garage door is a beautiful side-sectional Tavole style in oak, perfectly complementing the bespoke entrance door included in the brief. This door is surrounded by matching patterned cladding, creating an altogether cool, contemporary and undeniably impressive entrance with a real – and remarkable – point of difference.
