State of the art garage doors of the highest quality

Right from the word go we worked closely with the client and his architects, Open Design Studio, making sure we had all the exact details and specifications we needed for creating a garage door that would be finished in situ.  The door we created is an impressive overhead sectional unit in aluminium, with overall dimensions of 2,500mm wide by 2,600mm tall. At the request of the client, our dimensions to work to were provided by the client’s contractors rather than by an on-site survey performed by us. 

To allow for the size, the door is split into five articulated panels, with a motorised open and close activated via remote control handset, of which we supplied two.  Once the door was installed, the client fitted their own wooden outer surface to it, completing a look which perfectly matched the rest of the building – natural, minimal, and strikingly understated. We then revisited the site in order to re-tension the motorised door to allow for the increase in weight in its finished, fully-panelled state.  

Overall, this was a very satisfying project to work on, with the added interested that came with supplying an unfinished product.  We’re always happy for clients to ask for something unexpected or challenging, as it gives us the chance to demonstrate just how seriously we take our promise to deliver perfection.
