A truly beautiful collection of doors
Our client wanted expertly designed doors that would suit their surroundings and really elevate the overall impression made by their beautiful home. Also, security was a specific requirement of the client, so it needed even closer attention than usual. Handy, then, that all of our doors are made to exacting RC2 standards of security, while the front door here is even upgradable to RC3.
Inside, we created single and double-leaf Vario 6 doors in natural oak finish, the client making a conscious decision to match woodwork elsewhere in the home. With more than thirty different colour finishes at our disposal, this is something we’re particularly well equipped to achieve, and this kind of precision matching nicely fits our ethos of always pursuing perfection.
On the flip side, having doors that don’t match the skirting is an unusual move: one we often recommend because the results – as here – can be simply stunning. In this case, the gorgeous orangey warmth of the natural oak is really brought to life by its contrast with the paler skirting. These doors all use matching architrave for a consistent look, while hidden hinges and magnetic door latches provide the extra security that translates into real peace of mind. Even the flexible door seals add a touch of quality, preventing drafts and slamming.
The external front door is our beautiful Versare, also with hidden hinges and a magnetic latch, plus two glass panels, triple glazed for extra security and energy efficiency. Again, our wide range of lacquers and finishes meant we could perfectly match this door to the client’s home, enabling us to create a truly unique entranceway.
Overall, this stunning home has been made even more impressive thanks to its new bespoke doors. While the internal doors add a suitable touch of sophistication, the home’s front door strikes the perfect balance of inviting good looks and reassuring robustness and security.
